NCNA Mission

The New City Neighborhood Association seeks to support the revitalization and rejuvenation of the New City community.

We support the recommendations of the Easthampton Reconnaissance Report, which include:

  • Designating New City an Architectural Preservation District 
  • Listing workers' housing neighborhoods on the National Register of Historic Places
  • Allocating CPA funds to maintain and repair the remaining workers' housing project
  • Creating an educational program on workers' housing
  • Replacing lost street trees
In addition, we support:

  • Improvements and enhancements to existing infrastructure
  • Cultivation of the New City neighborhood business community
  • Preservation of existing green spaces
